FELLOWSHIP INN

BELLINGHAM, LONDON

The regeneration of this derelict building, with a rich local history is a catalyst for further upgrading in the area. The large community tavern was originally built as part of the development of suburban London and hosted bands such as Fleetwood Mac and the Yardbirds, as well as being a place where Henry Cooper regularly practiced. It rambles over several split-level storeys with entrances at both front and rear, but very little of it was accessible to all.

Our work returned the lower ground cinema and upper performance space to use, together with a pub, a café and music rehearsal rooms. Our innovative approach to the building services and visitor flow management allows access to all areas and the use of all of the spaces independently.
