The repair of modern and manufactured materials brings about a set of challenges of its own. We have repaired materials as diverse as the early patent reinforced concrete used at Giles Gilbert Scott’s church at Northfleet; the cast iron structure at Gravesend Town Pier and the corrugated steel envelope of the 1936 Bellman Hangar at Brooklands Museum.
