HOLYWELLS PARK

IPSWICH

The derelict Orangery at Holywells Park was in very poor condition. Our detailed condition surveys led to a series of proposed conservation repair packages that allowed for the majority of the cast iron and timber structure to be repaired and retained. The roof glazing bars were replaced which allowed us to provide significant areas of ventilation by reinstating the original Victorian opening mechanisms.

The Stable Block was fully repaired and extended, providing a café and visitor hub including a commercial kitchen; craft and charity run workshop space; historical interpretation gallery and public facilities including a Changing Places room.
